Maharashtra Police Application Form Details 2016-17
Maharashtra, the third largest State
in Republic of India, has one of the largest police forces in the country.
Besides 236 Indian Police Service officers borne on the State Cadre,
Maharashtra, a highly industrialized State with large urban conglomerates, has
adopted Commission rates system for policing its large cities.
Maharashtra Police announced Police Constable in Maharashtra Police, Examination 2016. Applicant willing
to apply may apply on or before 18th February, 2016.
Name of the Exam: Police Constable (Male/Female)
Total no. of Vacancy: 51 Posts
Criteria of Age: The age of the applicant 18 to 25 Years as on 31st
of December 2015 Age Relaxation will be as per Govt Rules.
Academic Qualifications: The applicant should have passed Higher Secondary Examination or similar from a recognized Board for Constable in Maharashtra Police Post.
Fees of Application: The applicant has to pay the amount of Rs. 320/- For
Unreserved candidates, Rs. 170/- For Reserved Category candidate
and Rs. 20/- For Ex-Servicemen category candidates towards registration
charges. The The payment should be made through challan deposited into SBI or online mode thorugh Debit Card/Credit Card or Internet Banking.
Initial Baisic Pay: Rs.5,200 – 20,500 + GP of Rs.2,000/-.
Procedure to Apply: Applicant needs to Apply Online through official website of
Maharashtra Police i.e. mahapolice.gov.in .
Selection Proceeding: The selection of the aspirant will be done by the short
listing method which will be based on written exam in two phases, Physical
Endurance Test, Medical Examination and Interview/personality test and will be
selected further for skill test.
